Parent Education on Mental Health

In ‘Parent Education on Mental Health Programme’, WEMP is bringing experts and practitioners to schools and parents to equip them with the skills needed to help children to have fulfilling childhoods.
In phase one, we partnered with five primary schools. Activities included workshops on how to relieve stress, talks about children’s development needs and parents support group for sharing on daily hardships.

Early Childhood Parenting Programme

WEMP has expanded positive education to kindergartens across Hong Kong, with the goal of sharing positive parenting skills and mental health knowledge to over 6,000 kindergarten parents.
It is set to be Hong Kong’s first education programme that targets early childhood mental health.
Dream Chasers Musical - Youth Positive Thinking School Tour

Peer support plays a crucial role in the long-term development of children. Organised by WEMP, funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Youth Development Commission, with support from CLAP@JC, alongside its production by Boom Theatre, Dream Chasers Musical – Youth Positive Thinking School Tour, aims to connect secondary school students, inspire positive thinking, and help them discover their passions in life.
The tour features Hong Kong’s only youth-led, long-lived musical titled “Our Journal of Springtime.” Through this musical and free-flowing discussions, students are encouraged to overcome setbacks and develop new passions, then become empowered to pursue their dreams together.
